Technical Data Management Specialist

Raytheon Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Data Management Officer to join our Configuration Management Team.
As a Technical Data Management Officer, you will be responsible for organizing, storing, and sharing technical data within the Minor Vessel Classes while handling technical data in accordance with security, exports, and ITAR restrictions within the Defence approved records management systems.
Key Responsibilities- Data Management Support: Ensure correct data is available to authorized users and can be catalogued and found efficiently.
- Technical Data Support: Provide technical data support for sustainment of the Patrol and Hydrographic ships, including the provision of authorized technical data to third parties during maintenance activities and in-service defects.
- Application Support: Assist internal stakeholders in the use of applications used in the Data Management Environment, including but not limited to applications such as Teamcenter, Objective ECM, Atlassian JIRA, and external clients' data portal(s).
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, securing Raytheon Australia's reputation as a trusted partner in delivering systems integration and mission support solutions to our customers.
- Data Management Experience: Experience in an Asset management environment.
- Document Writing Skills: Document writing skills including authoring of processes and procedures, internal training material, and preparation of reports from the data management system.
- Tertiary Qualifications: Tertiary qualified through relevant vocational training or recognized degree qualifications.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Previous experience making minor changes in systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of work area.
- Data Management Knowledge: Understanding of the requirements within data management in Commonwealth of Australia data management systems.
- Configuration Management Knowledge: Basic understanding of the requirements and issues associated with configuration management.
- Computer Literacy: Computer literacy including the use of data management systems, Windows operating system, and Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and sound technical verbal and written communication abilities.
- Accountability: Accountable for achieving ongoing self-improvement and professional development.
- Security Clearance: Eligible to obtain and maintain a NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
