
Advanced Billings Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Billing and Audit Officer to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care by ensuring accurate and timely billing within our health service.
The successful candidate will be responsible for processing billing schedules, inpatient accounts, and related documentation in accordance with legislative and departmental requirements.
They will also be required to liaise with Health Funds, Medicare, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and follow up on outstanding accounts.
Maintaining and updating billing records and patient information with accuracy and confidentiality is crucial to this role.
The ideal candidate will provide administrative support, data extraction, and reporting to ensure compliance and efficiency across billing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process billing schedules, inpatient accounts, and related documentation in accordance with legislative and departmental requirements.
- Liaise with Health Funds, Medicare, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and follow up on outstanding accounts.
- Maintain and update billing records and patient information with accuracy and confidentiality.
