Billing Specialist Job Description

As a Billing Specialist, you will be working alongside experienced professionals who are passionate about their roles and dedicated to supporting each other.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue accurate invoices to clients in a timely manner.
  • Review and verify billing data, ensuring compliance with firm policies and client service level agreements.
  • Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to inquiries regarding invoices.
  • Maintain and update billing records and client information.
  • Collaborate with legal and administrative staff to streamline billing processes.

Requirements

We would love to hear from you if you have the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Previous experience using Aderant Expert software;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Proficient in Excel; and
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
