Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team on a permanent basis.

About the Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for processing weekly payroll across Australia and New Zealand, reviewing payroll processes, extracting data from Time and Attendance systems and HRIS, interpreting complex employment agreements and awards, working closely with outsourced payroll vendors, and troubleshooting payroll queries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process weekly payroll across multiple locations
  • Collaborate with the Payroll Team Lead to review and improve payroll processes
  • Analyse data from various systems to ensure accurate payroll calculations
  • Apply knowledge of employment laws and regulations to interpret complex agreements and awards
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with payroll vendors
  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and errors
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar payroll role
  • Familiarity with Kronos, Oracle or ADP software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
