The Role: Financial Manager

We are seeking an experienced Financial Strategist to join our team at Community Housing Ltd. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving our financial health and strategy. About the Job

This full-time permanent position offers a competitive salary package and the opportunity to work with a dynamic and compassionate team. You will be responsible for overseeing the financial health, strategy, and operations of our VIC state office. Key responsibilities include:

  • Budget Oversight: Develop and implement budgets in collaboration with departmental heads.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyse financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Strategic Recommendations: Evaluate key financial metrics and develop strategies to drive organisational growth.
  • Reporting: Provide comprehensive financial reports to senior management.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting standards and organisational policies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Chartered Accountant or Certified Practising Accountant designation.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a comparable role.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced capabilities in Microsoft Office.
  • Uncompromising attention to detail.
  • Experience in Microsoft Business Central is desirable.
  • A steadfast commitment to housing rights.
