Project Manager: Technology Acceleration
">A fantastic opportunity exists to join our collaborative partnership between the University of Adelaide and UNSW, working closely with senior academics, industry partners, defence and university to support the development and execution of high-level project plans and resourcing requirements.
As a Project Manager – Technology Development and Acceleration, you will become a valued addition to our existing team, reporting to the General Manager, Technology Development and Commercialisation. You will be responsible for managing the delivery of strategic projects, utilising your refined stakeholder engagement skills to succeed in the role.
To be successful, you will need:
- Proven Advanced Project Management Experience: an in-depth understanding of the project life cycle and strategic development of project plans, objectives and documentation.
- Strategic Project Delivery: experience in managing the delivery of strategic projects.
- Excellent Consultation Skills: excellent consultation, influencing and negotiation skills and proven ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
- Collaborative Work Environment: demonstrated success working effectively and collaboratively on initiatives with a range of people at different levels within an organisation.
- Knowledge of Budgeting Procedures: knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures.
- Time Management: excellent time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to respond to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines by using judgement and initiative.
- Demonstrated Values: demonstrated ability to promote the organisational values of integrity, respect, collegiality, excellence and discovery, and a commitment to positively comply with the associated behaviour expectations.
- Defence Experience: experience working in the Defence environment.
Qualifications:
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education and training.
- The successful candidate may be required to hold or attain an Australian government security clearance.
