Building Data Collector

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a building consultant. This role involves travelling to various sites across Tasmania, collecting data on the condition of buildings using tablets and other tools.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting site inspections and recording data on mechanical/electrical building systems, fixtures and fabrics.
- Providing thorough and accurate data capture and uploading it as directed.
- Crafting detailed reports for assessments when required.
- Collaborating with the team to ensure accuracy and quality of data capture.
- Taking room measurements and sketching basic floor plans.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Demonstrated experience in inspections/data capture projects across large commercial buildings.
- A reliable vehicle and a valid Australian driver's license.
- Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People or the ability to obtain one.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Proficient use of smartphones, laptops, tablets and cameras.
- A professional demeanor and capability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
