Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Planning Manager to join our team in Pinkenba, QLD.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the effective and efficient operations of the Repairable team. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and guiding the team to meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide R&R Technical Coordinators on priorities to meet Customer requirements.
  • Set priorities according to DIFOT and individual Customer needs.
  • Engage internal stakeholders to remove barriers and satisfy customer experience.
  • Customer-facing report functionality, including bi-weekly meetings.
  • Develop weekly reports with updates on job status.
  • Develop Workshop capability, services, and tools with Workshop Managers and RPLMs.
  • Approve Strip Reports and MDR prior to submission.
  • Seek fixed pricing for strips and refurbs.
  • Schedule production orders while optimizing manufacturing efficiencies using agreed planning methodologies and tools.
  • Create a high level of team spirit and engagement by fostering an open and trusting environment.
  • Clients Relationship issues management.
  • Escalation management with external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree or Trade qualification preferred.
  • Must have experience with ERP systems in a production planning environment.
  • Good understanding of project management methodologies.
  • Well-developed relationship skills in a business environment.
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Prior responsibility for business center profitability.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
