**Job Opportunity:** 2X Senior Planners

We are seeking two highly motivated and experienced professionals to lead our Development Services teams.

The successful candidates will bring a collaborative mindset, foster a positive team culture and mentor others to achieve shared goals and success.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about leadership, development assessment and fostering high performance teams.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Set clear objectives, make informed decisions and foster a culture of accountability and high performance.
  • Manage the end-to-end processing of development applications, deliver expert advice, reporting and oversee the daily operations of your team.
  • Direct and coordinate a Unit within Council to enable Council to function at an optimal level.
  • Model leadership behaviours that align with Council's Leadership Capability Framework and contribute to a culture where staff and stakeholders have confidence in the way the organisation is led and services are delivered.

**Requirements:

  • Aptitude for town planning or related field equivalent to a Bachelor of Town Planning or Urban & Regional Planning.
  • Extensive experience in the operation and management of the development control process.
  • Extensive experience in the assessment of development applications pursuant to Section 79C of the Environmental Planning & Assessment Act.
