Job Opportunity:

The NWEACH Project Manager is responsible for overseeing financial analysis, planning, and reporting. This role involves managing cash flow and investment strategies to ensure the New Windsor Essex Acute Care Hospital project remains on track.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all project accounting activities in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Infrastructure Ontario project standards.
  • Oversee internal and external financial reporting for the project.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team and project vendors/consultants to guarantee accurate and timely processing of expenditures related to the NWEACH project.

Requirements:

  • University degree in a relevant field such as management, economics, or business administration.
  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation with active membership in good standing.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • 2-5 years' experience in project accounting or a similar role.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent conceptual, analytical, and systems-thinking skills, along with attention to detail.
  • Good written and oral communication, as well as organizational skills in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience with complex Treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting, cash management, and investment management.
