Key Responsibilities:

  • Author and review complex strategic procurement documentation using relevant legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks and quality standards.
  • Provide commercial advice on commercially sensitive reports, submissions, and documents.
  • Analyse, identify and develop mitigation strategies for risks associated with procurement activities, contract performance, and compliance.
  • Translate and apply legal principles, legislative and policy compliance obligations, commercial risk and performance requirements related to procurement within Defence or the Commonwealth.
Job Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge and application of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules, commercial principles and performance management frameworks related to procurement and contracting within Defence or the Commonwealth.
  • Experience working within a commercial team in a complex environment to deliver outcomes on time and to a high level of quality.
