Vehicle Mechanic Job Description

The Vehicle Mechanic will be responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance and repairs to ensure the highest level of performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular vehicle checks, inspections, and maintenance tasks as required.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with vehicles, using a range of diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Carry out refurbishments and support deliveries to retail and rental branches.
  • Manage inventory levels, conduct stocktakes, and source parts from suppliers to maintain timely and high-quality service.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in mechanical servicing, repair, and diagnostics.
  • Experience working with automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension.
  • A C Class Driver's License and relevant certification (or part qualified).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
