Account Manager Job Description

At Euler Hermes Australia Pty Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to join our team in Melbourne. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic ownership of a portfolio of accounts to service and retain.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with broker intermedaries to build and maintain relationships with our partners to ensure the commercial success of our business. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to lead the successful service of our clients
  • Ensuring visibility by performing Market and Client visits (including inter-state) with a developing visitation plan
  • Proactively managing renewal pipeline
  • Supporting new business strategy by being involved in handover process and attending new business meetings to demonstrate our service offering at point of sale/inception
  • Responsible for the renewal process according to commercial underwriting guidelines.
  • Participating in and supporting Account Management team's improvement strategy.

To be successful in this role, you will need a proven track record in account management across a diverse range of sectors, expert trade credit insurance knowledge, market leading negotiation and influencing skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, and strong relationship management skills.
