Job Title:

  • Tech Lab Professional

About This Role:

We are seeking an experienced Tech Lab Professional to join our team. As a key member of our lab team, you will be responsible for performing routine haematology and coagulation testing in compliance with laboratory protocols and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate, calibrate and maintain haematology analyzers and other laboratory equipment.
  • Conduct quality control procedures and troubleshoot technical issues as required.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting of test results.
  • Maintain compliance with NATA/ISO accreditation requirements and internal quality standards.
  • Adhere to workplace health and safety (WHS) regulations and infection control protocols.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Biomedical Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in a haematology laboratory setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of haematology testing methodologies and instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) and data entry procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
