We are seeking an experienced and passionate leader to join our dynamic team as a House Leader at St Francis Catholic College.

About the Role

This is a full-time position for a three-year appointment, with the possibility of a further three years upon successful mid-term appraisal. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a house of students, providing guidance and support to ensure their academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • To lead a house of students and provide guidance and support to ensure their academic and personal growth.
  • To work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members to achieve the college's goals and objectives.
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of house programs and activities that promote student engagement and wellbeing.
  • To maintain open communication with parents and caregivers to keep them informed about their child's progress.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent experience in education or a related field.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with experience in leading teams and managing budgets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on achieving collective goals and objectives.
  • Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration and a valid visa/working rights.
