We are excited to offer an opportunity for a motivated professional to lead our Athena SWAN program, driving meaningful change by identifying barriers and creating an action plan for inclusive workplace culture.
The role will be instrumental in shaping a future where equity and inclusion are at the heart of everything we do.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the Athena Swan program, including conducting staff consultations, data analysis, writing and submission of Silver and Cygnet Award applications.
- Implement and support policies and initiatives aligned with our People strategy.
- Coordinate the Athena Swan Self-Assessment Team and maintain relationships with key external networks.
- Drive projects, promote training and events, track progress against benchmarks, and embed best practices across the organisation.
- Demonstrated relevant experience working in a Diversity and Inclusion role, and/or tertiary qualifications in Human Resources and/or extensive experience in a generalist HR role with significant involvement in the delivery of Diversity and Inclusion-related projects and initiatives.
- Experience working on the Athena Swan accreditation process is advantageous.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, including the ability to plan and prioritise multiple tasks to meet competing deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of developing practices, policies, processes and evaluation tools in diversity and inclusion and organisational change.
- Experience building relationships across a wide range of stakeholders within an organisation.
- Passion for enhancing the work environment for all team members.
- Ability to understand and learn about a diverse range of experiences and backgrounds.
- Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders and managing diverse perspectives in a respectful way.
- Excellent written and interpersonal skills, as well as demonstrated collaboration skills.
- A proactive approach demonstrating initiative, judgement, and a high degree of confidentiality.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Flexibility to work non-standard hours for collaboration and contact with global teams based on requirements of the position.
