Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Communications Officer to join our dynamic team.

  • Develop and deliver effective communication strategies and plans.
  • Advise the leadership team on initiatives to better communicate research, news, and engagement projects.
  • Deliver content and support initiatives to position our organization as a preferred partner for industry practitioners, government agencies, and civil society organizations.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain various communication initiatives to a high standard.
  • Liaise with Marketing and Communications to ensure compliance with policies, branding, tone of voice, website, photography, and video standards.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Effective communication strategy and plan implementation.
  • High-quality content delivery and maintenance of communication initiatives.
  • Strong relationships with stakeholders, including industry practitioners, government agencies, and civil society organizations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Strategic Communications or Marketing, with subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of knowledge, training, and expertise.
  • Expertise in creating technical and research-related communication content for diverse target audiences.
  • Experience in social media content preparation, management, and growth.
  • Skills in graphic design, copy writing, photography, video, and video editing and packaging for digital.
  • Experience in media liaison and writing for target media exposure.
  • Experience driving communications strategies in a multi-media environment.
