Wildlife Conservation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Wildlife Conservation Specialist.

This critical role supports the daily operations of our team, with responsibilities including:

  • Ensuring regulatory compliance with the Nature Conservation Act 1992
  • Handling animals and applying biosecurity principles for native wildlife
  • Promoting awareness and understanding of conservation values among the public

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong regulatory compliance skills or the ability to quickly acquire them
  • Excellent animal handling/husbandry skills or the ability to quickly acquire them
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

As a Wildlife Conservation Specialist, you will contribute to protecting Queensland's native flora and fauna in a dynamic and challenging environment. You will be mentored by experienced leaders to continue developing your skills and expertise.
