Early Childhood Educator and Room Leader

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team of passionate early childhood educators and room leaders.

Job Description

Delivering High-Quality Education and Care:

As an early childhood educator, you will work collaboratively with other educators to create a safe, fun, and educational environment for children. Your duties will include providing day-to-day care, supervision, and education, contributing to the daily schedule, and creating positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and the community.

Leadership and Guidance:

As a room leader, you will work in partnership with the education leader to deliver a high-quality educational program based on the Buttercups Pedagogy Standards. You will provide leadership, guidance, and inspiration to educators in your team, promote children's well-being, and provide a safe and secure environment.

Responsible Person:

At times when the centre manager is absent, you will assume responsibility for the day-to-day operation and administration, ensuring the provision of high-quality early childhood education and care to children and their families.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A diploma in early childhood education or equivalent qualification
  • A good understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • A warm and caring personality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Current First Aid certificate, Working With Children Check (WWCC), and Police Clearance
