Youth Development Officer – Community

This is an exciting new opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Community Engagement Coordinator. The role involves developing and facilitating social and recreational programs and events in the community to encourage young people's active participation.
About YouTo be successful in this position, you will have a sound understanding of youth issues, including disengaged and vulnerable young people and multicultural communities. You will also have demonstrated experience in facilitation, project and program development and implementation; and event development and delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement programs and events that promote community engagement and participation.
- Facilitate partnerships with community stakeholders to deliver programs and services that meet the needs of young people.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of program activities and outcomes.
- Tertiary qualification in community development, youth work, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of working with young people and community stakeholders.
- Ability to develop and implement programs and events that promote community engagement and participation.
