About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Optus. As a key member of our retail leadership team, you will be responsible for leading, coaching, and mentoring a team of sales professionals to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team: Foster a positive and inclusive team culture, providing coaching, guidance, and development opportunities to help team members reach their full potential.
  • Drive Sales Growth and Customer Satisfaction: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth, while ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Customer Engagement and Retention: Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences, and delivering personalized solutions to drive loyalty and retention.
Requirements
  • Leadership and Management Experience: Proven track record of leading and managing high-performing teams in a retail environment.
  • Sales and Customer Service Skills: Excellent sales and customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and drive sales growth.
  • Operational and Business Acumen: Strong understanding of retail operations and business principles, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
