Robotics Expert Role

Stryker Adelaide, a leading medical technology company, is seeking an experienced Robotic Product Specialist to join their Joint Replacement team and support orthopaedic surgeons in robotic-assisted hip and knee replacements. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Mackay. A relocation package is available for the right candidate.


About The Position

This role requires a high level of clinical knowledge, technical acumen, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Robotic Product Specialist, you will be the primary clinical expert for Stryker's Mako system, providing real-time support during procedures and working closely with surgical teams to optimise patient outcomes.


Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the in-theatre expert for Mako-assisted procedures, providing technical and clinical guidance to surgeons and theatre staff.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal use of the Mako robotic platform during joint replacement surgeries.
  • Conduct pre-operative CT-based planning and segmentation to assist in surgical case preparation.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge in orthopaedic surgical techniques, anatomy, and robotic technology.
  • Provide ongoing training and clinical support to hospital staff and surgical teams.
  • Travel across Sydney and surrounding areas to support multiple hospital sites.

Requirements
  • Strong clinical background and passion for surgical innovation.
  • Experience in orthopaedic clinical support, biomedical science/engineering, medical device experience, operating theatre nursing/registered nursing experience, physiotherapy or allied health with surgical exposure, human movement or anatomy specialists with clinical experience.
  • Confident in surgical/theatre settings, technically savvy with software and medical technology, excellent communicator, adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to perform under pressure.
