The Role:

As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in advancing orthopaedic surgery through the application of cutting-edge robotic technology.

This is a unique opportunity to become a clinical expert in supporting orthopaedic surgeons in the planning and execution of robotic-assisted hip and knee replacements using Stryker's Mako system.

The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and a passion for surgical innovation. You may come from fields such as:

  • Orthopaedic clinical support
  • Biomedical science/engineering
  • Medical device experience
  • Operating theatre nursing/registered nursing experience
  • Physiotherapy or allied health with surgical exposure
  • Human movement or anatomy specialists with clinical experience
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the in-theatre expert for Mako-assisted procedures, providing technical and clinical guidance to surgeons and theatre staff.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal use of the Mako robotic platform during joint replacement surgeries.
  • Conduct pre-operative CT-based planning and segmentation to assist in surgical case preparation.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge in orthopaedic surgical techniques, anatomy, and robotic technology.
  • Provide ongoing training and clinical support to hospital staff and surgical teams.
