Track Engineering Manager for NSW Projects

We are looking for a highly skilled Track Engineer to join our team in New South Wales. As a Senior Track Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of track engineering designs and tender support for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Documentation: You will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed design documentation, technical reports, and specifications for clients.
  • Project Delivery: As a trusted track lead, you will oversee the successful delivery of multi-disciplinary projects, ensuring they meet budgetary, quality, and timeframe targets.
  • Resource Allocation: You will manage resources effectively, allocating tasks and responsibilities to team members to ensure project success.

In this role, you will work closely with our Associate Technical Director – Track and global design office counterparts to deliver high-quality results.

Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in civil or rail engineering is required, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the Australian rail market.
  • You should have extensive experience working with Sydney Trains in track design and delivering project outcomes within senior roles in major rail infrastructure projects.
  • Relevant experience in track engineering design or design review is essential.

As a successful candidate, you will possess excellent written communication skills, industry-recognised computer literacy, and the ability to articulate complex technical schemes and proposals succinctly.

The estimated salary for this position is $140,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
