Water Treatment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Water Treatment Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of water treatment facilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience with operating pumps, motors, and other water treatment plant equipment, as well as calibrating chlorine, pH, and turbidity meters. They should also be proficient in performing routine laboratory tests, including chlorine residual tests.

A key aspect of this role is the ability to work independently and make sound judgments to ensure the water treatment process runs smoothly. The successful candidate will be required to work planned and unplanned overtime, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as well as participate in standby and call-out duties on a rotational basis.

In the event of an emergency, the Water Treatment Specialist will be expected to perform duties as directed by management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain water treatment plant equipment
  • Calibrate and test water quality monitoring devices
  • Perform routine laboratory tests
  • Work overtime and participate in standby and call-out duties
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., environmental science, chemistry)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in water treatment operations
  • Strong understanding of water treatment processes and principles
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
