**Senior Wind Energy Engineer Opportunity**

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join a major asset owner in Australia and a global leader in Wind Energy generation. The successful candidate will oversee the Civil Engineering aspects of Wind and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) developments across multiple utility-scale developments.

This is an office-based role in the Brisbane CBD with occasional travel required. As the client's Engineer and technical expert, you will lead the development phases of Wind and BESS projects, including input to land development, project feasibility, and design. You will also oversee Consultant Engineers and EPC activities as the projects move from design through to construction.

Responsibilities include supporting the long-term reliability and effectiveness of existing renewable developments. If you have a strong background in civil engineering or geotechnical experience related to major renewable and infrastructure developments, we encourage you to apply.

**Qualifications and Requirements:**

  • Degree in civil engineering – or equivalent, ideally with RPEQ status
  • 10-15 years of civil engineering or geotechnical experience related to major renewable and infrastructure developments; Wind development experience is essential
  • Client-side, or Consulting experience is preferred; major EPC experience also considered

  • Salary is in the region of A$210,000 plus super and bonus
