Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and insights, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis related to trade working capital and free cashflow.

  • Financial Analysis — Provide trusted advice and support the financial review and recommendations across various financial business performance items.
  • Working Capital & Cash Flow Management — Assist in the preparation of quarterly Free Cash Flow touchpoints with senior leaders by providing insight into expected payments from large customers and payment schedules for weeks leading up to quarter end.
  • AR / AP Management — Embed Trade AR / AP insight into the working capital forecasting model by country and own the Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable financials and metrics presented to senior Finance stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration — Establish local Working Capital & Free Cash Flow targets for business units in support of the Australian CFO; oversee the preparation of monthly Working Capital & Free Cash Flow forecast models, including communication of assumptions, consolidation of data, and discussion with various stakeholders across the organization.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in the finance area (FMCG sector / international environment preferred but not essential)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High influencing capability with experience in preparing sound recommendations, able to constructively challenge stakeholders and lead strategic change initiatives
  • Ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders within Finance and cross functionally to drive fast decision making and improved business outcomes
  • Experienced finance leader with strong knowledge and understanding of Accounting Policies and Standards
  • Advanced experience using Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, SharePoint, Power BI)
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP and SAP BPC preferred), Anaplan (preferred)
  • CA or CPA qualified
  • Current or prior experience in a top tier consulting / professional services firm highly regarded
