Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial performance and providing expert advice to senior management.

Job Description
  • Role Overview:

The successful candidate will have experience in budgeting and forecasting, reporting, analytics, and business insights. They will also possess strong system skills and financial analytics capability, enabling them to provide insightful analysis and inform decision making.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the preparation of management reporting and analysis of organisation's financial performance to ensure senior management can effectively respond to changing circumstances and developments
  • Drive the delivery of high-quality budgeting and management reporting for the organisation and its related agencies and deliver insightful analysis to inform decision making
  • Provide expert financial advice and professional support to the executive, management and finance teams to analyse and interpret financial information in respect of the organisation's financial position by advising on trends and issues, providing options and carrying out impact analysis to inform decision making
  • Partner with the executive, management, and relevant finance teams to identify and provide expert financial advice on strategic resourcing issues that impact on savings targets, funding, and develop strategies and proposals to address the identified issues to ensure the targets and business outcomes of the organisation and its related agencies are achieved
  • Develop and implement systems, policies and processes to ensure the accuracy of financial information and the highest levels of corporate governance
  • Provide timely and compliant financial results and projections, PRIME submissions, information and schedules by the required dates to ensure the organisation and all of its related agencies meet their reporting obligations to relevant stakeholders including NSW Treasury.
  • Provide guidance and support to build capability and continuous improvement to improve efficiency and effectiveness of finance processes and systems
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in the field of Finance, Accounting, or similar
  • Skills:
  • Experience in Budgeting and Forecasting, Reporting, Analytics, and business insights
  • Strong system skills and financial analytics capability
  • CA or CPA qualified
  • Systems experience including SAP, BW, TM1 (IBM Planning Analytics) and Prime (Hyperion)
