Working towards this goal, we strive to deliver exceptional conservation outcomes through efficient administration and effective management.
Main Responsibilities- Efficiently run administrative functions, including logistics, reporting, and communication procedures for safety, asset management, fleet management, and accommodation across the region.
- Manage the administration and onboarding of Volunteers engaged in regional programs.
- Coordinate with land managers, ecologists, and staff at remote wilderness camps.
- Exceptional planning and organisational skills, prioritising and executing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent people management skills, leading, recruiting, developing, managing, and coordinating remote teams.
- Good relationship-building, collaborative, communication, and interpersonal skills with diverse stakeholders.
- Infrastructure and Asset Management: knowledge and experience in asset management, reporting, tracking, and maintaining records; scheduling maintenance and repairs; supervising fleet management.
- Systems and Processes: knowledge and experience in developing, implementing, and rolling out systems and processes to support conservation programs.
Formal qualification in relevant disciplines (Business Administration, Project Management, Bookkeeping) or demonstrated strong practical experience with a track record of delivering results.
Valid Manual driver's licence. 4WD experience. Police clearance certificate. Remote First Aid certificate.
Essential attributes include a high level of organisation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
