Food and Beverage Attendant Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and professional Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team at Novotel. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Explain our menu to guests, assist with special dietary needs, and provide recommendations for beverages
  • Engage with guests during breakfast and dinner service, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere
  • Serve drinks from the bar and deliver to tables, maintaining a high level of service quality
  • Deliver room service orders and ensure timely service
  • Order and deliver food and beverage orders, liaising with the kitchen as needed
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene for food handling and presentation
  • Assist with conference and events, room set-up, and pack down

Requirements:

  • A friendly, customer-focused attitude with a commitment to Total Customer Satisfaction
  • Initiative to ensure positive and efficient interactions with guests
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
  • Previous customer service or hospitality experience
  • Confidence in liaising with internal and external clients
  • A high standard of grooming and presentation
  • Ability to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays
