About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Companion Carer to join our team in Ganmain. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping them feel connected and valued.
  • Assist with daily errands, gardening, and yard maintenance tasks, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Engage clients in academic, social, or recreational activities, fostering meaningful relationships and a sense of community.
  • Prepare meals and snacks as needed, ensuring clients' nutritional needs are met.
  • Monitor clients' health and wellbeing, reporting any changes or concerns to relevant parties.
  • Respond to emergency situations, providing calm and competent care.

Requirements

  • Certificate III in Companion Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Current National Police Check and First Aid/CPR certificates.
  • NDIS Worker Screening and Orientation completed.
