Job Title: Home Support Companion

About this role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Companion to provide high-quality care and assistance to valued clients across Southern and Central West NSW.

Key responsibilities include assisting with daily errands, companionship, and support, as well as providing support with academic, social, or recreational activities.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with people experiencing cognitive decline, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to build relationships and make a positive impact.

Working conditions include varied shifts, including day and night shifts, and weekend and overnight shifts required.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Current National Police Check and First Aid & CPR certificates
