Program Manager - Mine Waste Management

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead our mine waste management programs.

  • Managing work programs to deliver engineering services for mine waste management, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Supporting multiple concurrent projects across the entire life cycle, including design management, tendering, contract administration, financial management, project scheduling, and risk management.
  • Leading the design of tailings storage facilities and other earthen structures, from conceptual through to delivery stages.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor degree in Civil/Mining Engineering or project management qualifications.
  • Proven project management experience, including managing multiple coinciding programs with internal and external stakeholders with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A background working on tailings, water, and civil projects, ideally with some experience within a consulting environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing, presentations, and client interactions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and within multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality service to clients within budget and time constraints.

This role requires strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
