Major Mining Project DeliveryAbout the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to lead the delivery of a major mining project. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in project engineering and management, with a strong background in developing and implementing schedules, cost estimates and coordination, and contractor claims management.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Senior Project Engineer with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering and 10+ years of experience in project engineering and management. They will have demonstrated experience working within mining and previous bulk earthworks, concrete, grade separations and railway interface experience.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned project engineer to take on a leadership role and drive future-ready outcomes for our clients and communities.

Your Responsibilities
  • Work on the delivery of large-scale capital projects for Tier 1 mining clients
  • Oversee the successful delivery and completion of installation packages of work for bulk earthworks, concrete works, and grade separations
  • Monitor progress of the work and performance against the project plan and take action to resolve problems and minimize risks and delays
  • Develop and implement project controls, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates
  • Ensure work undertaken complies with the scope and meets quality and operational requirements
  • Supervise work and ensure it meets quality, cost, and time constraints
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
  • Identify and mitigate risks to the project

Requirements
  • Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in project engineering and management
  • Demonstrated experience working within mining and previous bulk earthworks, concrete, grade separations, and railway interface experience
  • Strong background in developing and implementing schedules, cost estimates and coordination, and contractor claims management
