Job Title: Mechanical Tradesperson

A leading organisation is looking to expand its maintenance team by hiring an experienced mechanical tradesperson. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of various industrial equipment, machinery, and systems during scheduled shutdown periods.

  1. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and conducting quality checks on finished products.
  2. Your work will involve reviewing drawings and specifications to determine the required materials and equipment needed to complete jobs efficiently.
  3. You will also operate Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines, drill, machine, and mill metal components as per specifications.
  4. Additionally, you will configure and fine-tune metalworking machinery to ensure optimal performance.

To excel in this role, you will need a trade certificate in fitter mechanics, a White card, Compliflow certification, and area induction. You should have experience working with CNC machines and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
