Job Title: Fabrication Specialist

We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled fabrication specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking preventative maintenance and fabrication tasks to deliver safe and reliable plant operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • General maintenance tasks including fabrication, welding and fitting
  • Undertake regular inspections to identify potential issues and complete follow-up action
  • Undertake confined space and working at heights activities
  • Maintain accurate records of completed work
  • Comply with quality and safety processes
  • Assist with breakdown work as required
  • Report hazards and incidents in a timely manner
  • Cook and mentor apprentices
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to achieve operational performance targets and KPIs
Requirements
  • Trade qualified - Welder/Fabrication Specialist with Certificate III Engineering Fabrication or equivalent
  • Forklift and telehandler licenses
  • Elevated work platform license, working at heights, dogging and rigging are highly regarded
  • Driver's license
  • Hands-on experience using SAP is beneficial
  • Light to heavy fabrication skills
  • General fitting maintenance skills
  • Able to weld with MMA, GMAW, FCAW, Air Arc Gouging and Oxy Cutting
  • Demonstrated industry experience in fixed plant maintenance is highly regarded
  • A strong safety-focused attitude
