Reliable Electrical Systems Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and proactive electrical systems specialist to join our maintenance team at our Erskine Park site. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and safety of our plant and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out preventative maintenance to plant and equipment within the facility
  • High level of technical and diagnostic skills including fault finding of electrical circuits and PLC programs
  • Participate in the repairs and preventive maintenance of all site plant and equipment
  • Demonstrate and promote safe work practices
  • Assist with other duties to ensure the effective operation of the maintenance team
  • Identifying and resolving equipment reliability and improvement opportunities
  • Work closely with operations personnel to ensure that reliability and safety issues are dealt with in an effective and timely manner

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Electrical Trade Certificate/License (NSW)
  • Previous experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, preferably in FMCG or the Food manufacturing industry
  • SCADA and PLC Knowledge essential (Allan Bradley and Siemens desirable)
  • Processed-based risk assessment skills
  • Excellent communication skills – listening, verbal and written
  • Demonstrate an understanding of safety, health and the environment
  • Diagnostics and fault finding on PLC's, VSD's, HMI's, robotics, instruments and sensors
  • Installation of electrical power, control and automation systems
