Edward Jacobs is seeking a highly skilled and experienced auditor to join our team in Newcastle. As a Senior Auditor, you will play a key role in managing the audit process from planning to completion, ensuring the highest level of quality and accuracy in our work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the audit process, including planning, execution, and completion.
  • Expenditure and revenue analysis, highlighting key controls and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with clients, partners, and staff.
  • Manage and mentor junior audit staff.
  • Analyze and document internal controls and control environments.
  • Liaise with clients regarding deadlines, audit requirements, and accounting queries.
  • Conduct financial statements and tax compliance audits in line with Australian Auditing and Accounting Standards.
  • Lead engagements and ensure governance and regulatory compliance.
