Job Summary

We are seeking a driven accountant to join our team as a Senior Auditor. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the audit process from planning to completion, maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and staff, and mentoring junior audit staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the audit process from planning to completion, including expenditure and revenue analysis, risk assessment, and audit planning.
  • Expenditure and revenue analysis, highlighting key controls, research, preparation of confirmation letters, lead schedules, and audit programs.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with clients, partners, and staff.
  • Manage and mentor junior audit staff.
  • Analyze and document internal controls and control environments.
  • Liaise with clients concerning deadlines, audit requirements, and accounting queries.
  • Financial statements and tax compliance audits in line with the Australian Auditing and Accounting Standards.
  • Audit fieldwork and lead engagements.
  • Governance and regulatory compliance.
