Job Summary:

We are seeking a Registered Psychologist to provide private practice services and deliver focused psychological strategies to young people aged 12-25 in a multidisciplinary team environment.

headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation, acting as a one-stop-shop for young people seeking support with mental health, drug and alcohol, primary health and vocational/educational issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high standard, person-centred counselling and focused psychological strategies to young people with mental health concerns
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care
  • Have a referral base of young people who have been assessed and are ready to access services

  • Co-located General Practitioners
  • Flexibility to work across multiple locations with allocated office space
Qualifications:
  • Approved tertiary qualification in Psychology, with current unrestricted AHPRA registration
  • Eligibility to provide Medicare Benefits Schedule services
  • Willingness to undergo or provide full compliance documents including current Police Check, Working with Children's Check and Covid Vaccination Evidence
  • Proof of professional indemnity insurance and ABN
