Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct clinical and personal care duties, taking a holistic approach to care in the home.
- Apply expert clinical judgement, resourcefulness and compassion to develop care plans that meet the client's needs.
- Assess and treat wounds.
- Monitor and help clients use equipment and devices like catheters and continence aids.
- Ensure a high level of holistic care, including social and emotional support.
Requirements:
- A Nursing qualification.
- Unrestricted AHPRA Registration, with a minimum of two years+ practicing as an RN.
- Experience in Aged Care and Community Home Care customer service skills is desirable.
- Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003/4) and current CPR certificate (HLTAID001), or willing to complete within 1 month of commencement.
- Proof of the right to work in Australia.
- A current driver's licence, registration and access to your car with comprehensive car insurance.
- National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain.
- A genuine passion for caring for older patients and a determination to provide care that helps them stay in their homes longer.
- Willingness to travel between appointments (paid travel).
- Current up-to-date flu vaccine or desire to obtain.
- Up-to-date COVID vaccinations.
- 2 current relevant referees.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
