Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Infrastructure Professional to manage and maintain our on-premises, virtual, and cloud environments.

  • The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Linux OS administration, including Red Hat and Ubuntu.
  • Experience with Red Hat Satellite, Ansible Tower, GitLab, and HashiCorp Vault is essential for success in this role.
  • The successful professional will be responsible for configuring and managing Red Hat Satellite servers, integrating with Ansible Tower, and configuring Bind DNS servers for enhanced security.
  • They will also provide technical support, including installation, configuration, maintenance, security, and compliance of Enterprise Systems and Linux-based infrastructure.
  • An understanding of change management disciplines and the ability to adhere to these processes for all system changes is required.
  • The candidate will implement and manage HashiCorp Vault for secrets management and encryption, build and deploy Linux servers, and develop Ansible playbooks and roles to automate system administration tasks.
  • A strong foundation in troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and broad experience in security concepts, including SELinux, Intrusion Detection, vulnerability management, auditing, digital certificates, and Malware Prevention is essential.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required, and Red Hat Certified Engineer or Certified Administrator (RHCE)/ RHSA certification is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage secure Linux-based infrastructure solutions
  • Maintain and optimize performance of Linux systems and applications
  • Develop and enforce policies for security, access control, and data protection
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve system reliability
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in Linux administration

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with Linux OS administration, Red Hat Satellite, and Ansible Tower
  • Strong understanding of security concepts, including SELinux and Intrusion Detection
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
