The Role

This critical position within our Platforms Engineering team involves operational design, delivery, maintenance, enhancement & recycling of Platform/Infrastructure systems. This includes scaling up the platform up and down, designing suitable and cost-effective solutions to improve efficiency and stability of applications, while helping the business deliver solutions at ease.

You'll interact and work closely with the Cloud and Network teams, enabling you to be involved in various BAU and project work to drive synergies and consistencies across the enterprise environment.

About You

An experienced engineer with a minimum of 3 to 5+ years of experience in a similar capacity, you possess strong expertise and knowledge in Linux, acting as a subject matter expert.

  • Strong technical knowledge in various Linux operating systems (particularly with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Ubuntu, and CentOS distributions)
  • Working on patching and/or vulnerability management

Achieving success requires a strong foundation in:

  • Technical skills: Linux, scripting, automation, containerization, cloud platforms
  • Soft skills: communication, collaboration, problem-solving, adaptability
