Job Description

Zinfra seeks a visionary engineering leader to lead the delivery of high-quality engineering services across multiple Design & Construct (D&C) bids and projects in high-voltage (HV) electricity.

As a Design Manager, you will be accountable for resourcing, coordinating, and executing complex design solutions that contribute to the Regional Contracting business's revenue and profit targets.

You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure technical excellence, timely delivery, and client satisfaction.

  • Lead and mentor high-performing design teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous development.
  • Drive the delivery of innovative, compliant, and cost-effective design solutions.
  • Manage design resources and performance, ensuring alignment with business plans, budgets, and strategic objectives.
  • Develop compelling technical proposals and tender designs to support winning bids.
  • Collaborate with procurement and estimating teams, preparing tailored work packages and evaluating supplier and subcontractor offers.
  • Champion safety in design and risk management, participating in workshops to ensure robust outcomes.
  • Maintain rigorous design governance, ensuring adherence to systems, standards, and client requirements.
  • Represent Zinfra in industry forums and events, building networks and promoting capabilities.
