Project Manager Role Overview

The role of a Senior Project Manager is to lead the delivery of major infrastructure projects and programs.

You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to develop and implement effective project management strategies, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within quality standards.

A key member of the Property Command team, you will oversee the strategic alignment of accommodation solutions to support frontline capabilities.

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of major infrastructure projects or programs.
  • Manage risk, scope, time cost, and quality across multiple concurrent projects.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and provide input into internal and external funding bids, business cases, and high-level reporting.
  • Develop and mentor team member capability through sharing skills, knowledge, and expertise.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Australian Citizenship.
  • Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Commonwealth procurement policies and legislation.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering major capital works projects and programs.
