About the Role

The Design Manager will lead high-quality engineering services delivery across multiple Design & Construct (D&C) bids and projects in high-voltage (HV) electricity.

This pivotal role is accountable for resourcing, coordinating, and executing complex design solutions that contribute to annual revenue and profit targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and mentoring high-performing teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Driving the delivery of innovative, compliant, and cost-effective design solutions across multiple high-voltage D&C bids and projects.
  • Managing design resources and performance, ensuring alignment with business plans and strategic objectives.
  • Developing compelling technical proposals and tender designs to support winning bids.
  • Collaborating with procurement and estimating teams to prepare tailored work packages.
  • Championing safety in design and risk management.
  • Maintaining rigorous design governance, ensuring adherence to systems and standards.
