Job Description

We are seeking an Employment Coach to join our team. The role will be to assess the support needs of Deaf and Hard of Hearing Participants. You will provide a tailored approach to assist the Participants to achieve and maintain sustainable employment, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Assessing the support needs of Deaf and Hard of Hearing Participants
  • Providing a tailored approach to assist Participants to achieve and maintain sustainable employment
  • Ensuring compliance with contractual requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Proficiency in Auslan (Australian Sign Language)
  • Ability to develop and foster effective working relationships with Participants and external stakeholders
  • Proven ability working to targets and KPI's
  • High-level communication skills
  • A team player with a commitment to collaboration
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise workload
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and the use of databases
  • Relevant qualification or at least 2 years of experience
