Job Overview

The Grading and Packing Manager will be responsible for implementing innovative production techniques, manufacturing methods, and control procedures at the Grading and Packing Facility. This includes overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure all eggs are sorted, graded, and packed according to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a highly engaged workforce with a culture of continuous improvement, quality, passion, respect, and innovation;
  • Actively manage manufacture of quality food products meeting customer expectations;
  • Manage Manufacturing operations on site ensuring product made in full, on time and within budget;
  • Safe and secure operation of the site, ensuring safety and protection of all employees, contractors, visitors, and assets;
  • Effective collection of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other reporting as required;
  • Drive continuous improvement principles;
  • Closely monitor and report site performance in production, maintenance, and quality;

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience leading a manufacturing site to achieve production targets and growth strategies;
  • Advanced leadership and conflict management skills;
  • Proven ability delivering results, exceeding service targets with superior analytical and problem-solving ability;
  • Able to motivate, develop, and manage a large team of employees;
  • Thorough understanding of SQF, HACCP, Food Safety, and Food Quality standards;
  • Superior communication skills, writing reports and correspondence;
  • Able to solve practical problems, deal with various situations;
  • Able to work cooperatively with workers of all levels and abilities;

This new senior opportunity will report directly to the Poultry Operations Manager, offering wide-ranging responsibilities with some main tasks including:

- Managing Manufacturing operations on site ensuring product made in full, on time and within budget;

- Closely monitor and report site performance in production, maintenance, and quality;
