The Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority plays a pivotal role in shaping the design and delivery of education in Queensland.
The School Support Unit is an integral part of the state's education framework, providing comprehensive support for teaching, learning, and assessment practices in schools.
This position reports to the Director of Senior Assessment and Certification Support Branch. The successful candidate will lead and manage the School Support Unit, developing strategic policies and processes for the commercialisation of curriculum, assessment, and certification services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the development of processes to utilise system data analysis for quality assurance outcomes
- Managing projects within specified timelines, using allocated resources effectively
- Liaising with project teams to support endorsement, confirmation, and external assessments
- Providing expert strategic advice to the Director of Senior Assessment and Certification Support Branch
- Participating in forums, workshops, and discussion groups, liaising with government educational agencies and preparing briefings, correspondence, and reports
