The Opportunity

You will be part of a supportive and cohesive team, providing excellent clinical care to patients and contributing to the development of Psychiatric Services.

We are currently seeking General Adult Psychiatrists in inpatient and community settings. Other opportunities may arise in Old Age Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Rehabilitation and Forensics following expansion.

As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings and contribute to the growth and development of our services.

Requirements

To be eligible for this role, applicants should be registered as a specialist with the Medical Board of Australia and hold a Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) or equivalent qualification.

The Medical Board of Australia has implemented an expedited pathway to specialist registration, eliminating the need for a specialist assessment with a specialist medical college for those with an accepted qualification in Psychiatry.
